GITMO is not just a prison...

How many of you know that the oldest Department of Defense Schools are on Guantanamo Bay in Cuba? Tis true and I may be going there quite soon for a very new adventure. This will be worth updating frequently, I think.

Today's grateful thought is for being able to walk/jog in the comfort of a colorful neighborhood. What a way to start the day!

Evolving into a Thankful Journal...

OK--so I came home to NC after a lovely trip to MN to see my ladies and the babies and there were leaves on trees, Dogwood in bloom and azaleas coloring up everywhere. Just amazing. So, my first "Grateful" is that I enjoy my house again, and believe me, that is a biggie in my life right now.

So, could these kids be any cuter? My family arranged a pontoon party for my birthday and we spent the day cruising Lake Minnetonka. Good times.
